McCain and Obama on Wildlife Issues, or Not
Discovery News You have to dig deeply to find any comments from either McCain or Obama on specific wildlife issues. It's again a reflection of public concerns, which trickle down to the press and to the candidates. And yet, Joe the Plumber everyperson pays more for food, suffers greater health risks and faces an uncertain future due to what happens on a daily basis to non-human animals the world over. The current collapse of the billion dollar fishing industry and diseases like avian influenza and AIDS are just a few examples.
